http://sayingimages.com/the-world-best-quotes-ever/

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”― Oscar Wilde

I chose this quote because It stuck out to me the most, the others had a little of effect on me. Just not as much as this quote by Oscar Wilde did. What this means is that to live life to the fullest is so rare anymore, people just take it for granted. The thing is though most people just exist, and that is all. This means that you know they’re there, but they don’t get the best out of life at all. Just play another role in life and follow.
The reason I chose this quote mainly is because it is true. People do take life for granted nowadays. Think when was the last time you just stepped outside into the world and had that feeling that you’re glad to be alive. When was the last time you just stopped out of your way to see a beautiful site, like the sun rise or a full moon? I’ll admit lately I haven’t been taking in the little things and have been way too busy for school and work. I don’t want to be like this at all. I don’t want to be the guy that exists; I want to be the guy that lives to the fullest. So thank god I have this whole summer to look forward to.

I’m writing today on the Google glass video. If you have not seen it yet it is a pair of glasses that is basically an Iphone. I think this is a great invention to society. It is definitely a next step in our technology. It can take videos, send messages, take pictures, upload items to the internet, it allows you to search the web, and also helps you contact people.
I know this product could help me in endless ways. I know if I was in the middle of a test and I don’t know the answer I’m searching the web for the answer. If it comes to it and you need a picture or video now, it is just a button away from recording everything you see. I think it should be a law that police officers wear them and have them recording at all times. This way cops couldn’t abuse their power and you can see everything from their view, if the issue comes to court. With these glasses I would believe that crime rates would drop dramatically. The reason I say this is because you would have everything on video and crimes would be easier to solve. All I know is when I get the money I think I’m going to get a Google glass. Just because it could make life a little more easier and more fun.

http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2013/05/23/Pizza-delivery-to-US-service-members-in-Afghanistan-dubbed-largest/UPI-95271369345924/

I’m writing today on the news of the world’s largest pizza delivery. On May 23, 2013 30,000 pizzas were delivered to military services in Afghanistan. Was considered a new world record by Guinness records. Which I think is what the soldiers deserve, not close to what they exactly deserve. It is still nice they get to sit and take the time to eat the food they missed.
Mark Evans, a long time retired Air Force master sergeant and also the founder of nonprofit group Pizza 4 Patriots. Guinness officials notified him that last year’s massive pizza delivery to the U.S. service members in Kandahar, Bagram, and Camp Bastion, making it the world’s largest pizza delivery. They reported that the soldiers had a great time and also a nice day off.
I mean after all they are fighting for our country, and our freedom. They deserve to get more but I guess you can’t bite the hand that feeds. I just wish more of this would happen. People taking the personal time out of there life’s to just say thank you here’s a meal. I hope that this one huge act of kindness can make a huge difference soon. Because with all due respect I think America needs it.

oklahoma disaster

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/thunderstorms-slow-oklahoma-tornado-cleanup-19241674

I am writing from an article on ABC news about the tornado in Oklahoma. It is a major tragedy for thousands of people. So far 24 people have been killed and thousands of homes have been destroyed in this past week. The tornado also hit an elementary school killing 10 children. The first of the funerals was for a 9 year old girl that was killed in the tornado.
It was said that the tornado cause over 2 million dollars’ worth of damage. Authorities say over 13,000 homes have been destroyed in Moore, OK, 33,000 people have been injured or affected by this. This is a hard time for Oklahoma considering they have had three other tornadoes since 1998. This one so far has had the biggest toll since then.
When the tornado hit the two elementary schools it completely leveled one and leaving the other with only half a building. Out of the ten children that were killed two of them were just infants. The families are in devastation. A medical examiner said that six of the children who died at the Plaza Towers suffocated after being buried under a mass of bricks, steel and other materials used to make the building. I just feel that Oklahoma is going to take some time to come back from this, but they have seen this time and time again and will stay strong no matter how bad the weather is.

I chose Google images picture of the day. It is a picture of a baby bird looking up at the other birds flying around it. The reason I chose this one is because it spoke out to me unlike the rest. Maybe it is because the bird is looking up wondering when it is his turn to fly. He’s probably wondering if he’ll ever fly at all. Sometimes you just can’t help to feel the same way.
For instance when you see somebody bragging on how they just got a scholarship, new car, and new job. You just sit back and wonder when is this going to happen to me. Will it ever happen to me? I don’t know if everybody feels like this but I can’t help it sometimes. I guess in my own terms I want to fly.
Now I know this sounds depressing but I know everybody has to feel like this every blue moon. The reality is though that everybody gets there shot. It’s not easy to find though you actually have to find it, and want it. The opportunity might not even come when you expect it, but when it does don’t pass it up it could be your only chance

a little about myself

My name is Andrew. I live in Harrison Ohio, and I go to diamond oaks. I am your typical simple guy. I enjoy many activities outside of school. I like to fish, ride quads, dirt bikes, swim, and party! I occasionally like to ride the horses but they get boring after a while. Now there isn’t much to do in Harrison except make fun out of the little things.
I go to diamond oaks for sports rehab and therapy. The main thing I like about this class is the working out and that is about it. I like it here at diamond, it is super easy and the day fly’s by. Next year though I’m going back to Harrison. I just like Harrison more than this place.
I guess the reason I like Harrison more is because everything is better. As soon as you get into Harrison the grass is greener, the air is cleaner, and not as much noise. The only thought running through my head is what I will do with my life if I leave diamond. Well I have considered getting my cdl’s (which is truck driver lisence), I have also thought about joining the marines; even though my mom might not like that thought.
But I do have another year of high school to decide. The only thing I’m focused on is this summer and not school. So I guess I’ll just have to wait it out. In the meantime though I am going to have fun while I’m still young. Right now I feel like I have too much responsibility at my age. I work a little over 30 hours a week while in school; have to worry about a $305.00 car insurance payment due at the end of each month. So I don’t get much sleep as you can see.
So in the meantime I’m going to be in Harrison living it up. Swimming every day with a little fishing. Go riding quads in the mud, for super fire up the grill and roast a pig. And to finish it I’ll be in a field watching the sun go down over the horizon every night. That sounds just fine to me.
